Ukraine and the World Global Insights Forum Join Ukraine and the World – Forum for Global Insights, to be held on August 22, 2026, in Chicago’s historic Ukrainian Village, on the eve of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day. The Forum is hosted by UCCA Illinois Division. This timely gathering will convene global leaders, scholars, and change-makers to reflect on some of the most pressing challenges facing our world today - viewed through the lens of Ukraine’s extraordinary courage, resilience, and moral clarity in the face of ongoing aggression. The Forum will include panel discussions, workshops, networking opportunities and networking reception. This year’s forum will focus on themes including: The Future of Global Security- The New Balance of Power War Without Frontlines - Weapons, Narratives, and Hybrid Warfare The Environmental Impact of War - No One Is Safe The Economics of War and Sanctions- Follow the Money We invite community leaders, policymakers, scholars, students and engaged citizens to be part of this important conversation and help lay the groundwork for a peaceful and just world. Ukrainian Village is a State of Illinois Designated Cultural District showcasing rich history, architecture, culture as well as delicious Ukrainian food. There will be opportunities to sign up for walking tours.
